What Accreditation Does Not Do
Accreditation is a facility-level assessment. It does not eliminate surgical risk, guarantee outcomes for any individual patient, or substitute for a qualified surgeon's evaluation. Patients should evaluate surgeon qualifications, anesthesia support, recovery planning, emergency preparedness, and follow-up care in addition to the facility.
