Editorial Standards
How we write, source, and review patient-education content.
Accuracy & Sourcing
Clinical statements are grounded in peer-reviewed plastic surgery literature and society guidance (ASPS, ISAPS, WHO). Outcome ranges, recovery timelines, and risk percentages are presented as ranges observed in published series, never as personal guarantees.
Tone & Language
We avoid superlatives ("best", "guaranteed", "look younger instantly"), fear-based language, and body-shaming. Content is professional, calm, educational, and premium.
Disclosure
The Ariel Center and the Obesity Control Center (OCC) operate this educational site. Coordinator contact and consultation requests on this site connect prospective patients with the Ariel Center.
Review Cadence
All pages are reviewed at least annually and after notable changes in clinical guidance. The "Last reviewed" date on each page reflects the most recent review.
